6th Day
The fog and the ongoing drizzle of the snowing machine is frosting the village
W
hen fog kicked in yesterday I trusted the weather forecast and hoped for a partly sunny day today. Well, sun was seen only for about half an hour, but instead the snowing machine of the skiing area covered the whole village with a nice frosted surface. Maybe with the help of the fog last night, but in the other villages here there's no frost.
6th Day - Frosted Tree
Living close to a less important skiing area holds lots of benefits for people who like to ski. Sadly, we don't. So the biggest benefit for us is the perfectly maintained road to allow even less experienced drivers to get there. The downside is a constant drizzle from the snowing machines on days like today. This frosts everything in several miles, including streets, and of course the trees. Like this one which I think looked pretty good for being portrayed today.

I never realised snow machines left their mark over a wider area. Tree does look nice, and cools me down!
I never realised those machines would affect a larger area than only the piste. It does add to the postcardfeeling for the tourists though.
That tree is just gorgeous! Nice job.
Beautiful shot. Love those frosty branches and things. And the way the snow bank is on the diagonal and half covering the little house is just great. Nice one.
Oh Gosh this is so pretty, the effect of the bare tree branches is startling against the white looking sky.
