Having a cup of tea, meditating about the world, playing with the kids - it's Saturday evening.

oly smokes, this was that sort of day I didn't wish to happen during this challenge. It started with my wife being sick -- result: I had to do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kids enjoy my kitchen work and so do I, but I had had some plans for the rebuilding of our kitchen and the neighboring bathroom as well…
Day 24th - Yes We Can
If you think this sounds demanding, you're right. I finished with everything, except some changes in the wiring of the staircase and … right, there's something, but I can't get it. May I have on more cup of tea, please? Spent the evening with the kids on the couch, playing dice first, celebrating this week's movie day later. When I had them in bed, my daughter asked: 'What was your entry to the challenge today?' -- which helped a lot to remember :) Well -- I changed gear, put in the PK-13 distance ring and did a macro shot with the 50 mm lens, starring my cup of tea. Hope you enjoy a different part of my surroundings.

What a story!!! I really like your shot, but I have no idea what kind of "cup" it is. Maybe you could show us a full picture of it for reference?
Fabulous macro, I love those intertwined wires in the tea egg.
I never would have guessed what it was without being told.
What a lovely warm looking detailed macro - took me ages to work the angle of it out though when I did it all became clear. The rim of the white cup is the answer. This would make quite an impact in a contest of a mystery macro.

Fantastic macro although a bit of a puzzle to me. At first I thought I was looking at a part of a handle then I saw the black hole that looked like a spout but it's very short. Doesn't matter, still looks great :)

:) Well, as I use loose tea only, most of what you see is what is called a "tea egg" here. More or less a sieve where you put the loose tea, resembling a tea bag (without the taste of paper, that is). On the lower left there's the inside of my cup, and the white thing between the cup and the "tea bag" is the lighting, mirrored by the tea …
It's an awesome macro shot but I'm having trouble seeing it as a cup. Looks more like a teapot.
