s they said, we got some snow today. During the night there were heavy rain showers running through, but in the morning rain became snow and covered all the ugly brown spots again.
Day 20th - Let It Be Snow Again
As I was quite busy today I had to go for a fast and painless shot. I choose the same position as yesterday, bringing the tree from day 6 into frame, too. Snow was somewhat limiting the view, but I think it's a nice demonstration of our fast changing weather. Day 22 is another shot of the valley with lots of fresh snow and clear skies. I added a quick link to the micro navigation at the right.
Still In This Thirty Day Challenge
Thanks to Andromeda 5000 for providing the raw list. It didn't appear to be a challenge at first, but believe me, it is -- if you have a life, too, as the number of drop-outs will tell you. Very amazing how quickly it all changes. This is another lovely shot. Very well done. It's a dream of us Antipodeans to have such great snow from time to time, but I have been up north and lived it in, and I have to say, it is a big hassle, IMO. To play and holiday in it, however, is another story! ;-) Someone else is usually doing the work of clearing and cleaning so that it is comfortable for the guests. Living in it is not my cup of tea!
The cropped version looks just like a Christmas card. Your photo shows just why I love snow so much - it is beasutiful!
Thanks for your helpful remark on the crop of my latest beach photo. I think you`re right, I never knew that the usual crop in this case would be the middle of the shins.
Just as the people in the cold take warmth of my beach shots, I cool myself one those great snow shots. I like the individual snow flakes you can barely make out. Maybe you can empesize them even more

I really like your idea - a compairison between the two pictures. Out of the two I like this one - not sure why though because yesterdays had some lovely colouring in it. This one is more muted and just more.....snowy!!!! (I amaze myself sometimes with my vocubulary!) Nice shot.
