he road from my place to Bregenz becomes a stunning winter wonderland when temperatures get freezing. Per usual there are lots of tiny wells running down he rocky walls of those mountains and if it gets cold the dripping waters start freezing to icicles forming bizarre walls several hundred meters along the road.

11th Day - Rocks on the rocks

It's hard to show what it looks like, but driving along a wall of icicles is more than impressive. It took me literally years to get there and to take these photos but I feel I have to give it one more try soon. Hope today's shot gives you a slight idea of how this place looks like for only a few weeks every year.  

Shooting was different fun -- when I was trying to get a look to the viewfinder, laying in the snow and desperately trying not to slip down the slope some drivers stopped their cars, asking me if I feel OK… As they couldn't see the cam they thought I might suffer a spastic attack or something. Hey, that's Austria, too: people asking kindly if they could be of help instead of just trying to run with the cam of a poor f*ck struggling in the snow :)
